LEVEL 1 CHARTER SKIPPER COURSE
- Where: embarkation at Marina di Cannigione, Sardinia
- When: 31 October to 14 November 2020
- Boats: charter sailing monohulls and catamarans
- Aim: to approach the sea as a professional activity and acquire the core skills of a charter skipper
LEVEL 2 ADVANCED CHARTER SKIPPER COURSE
- Where: embarkation at Marina di Cannigione, Sardinia
- When: 12 November to 26 November 2020
- Boats: sailing monohulls and catamarans
- Aim: to professionalise the role of skipper in command for charter companies
Participants who wish to continue with British-system professional training will be issued appropriate RYA/MCA certification of sea miles and watchkeeping, essential for working with international charter companies.
PROFESSIONAL CHARTER HOSTESS/STEWARD COURSE
- Where: Marina di Cannigione, Sardinia
- When: 12 November to 19 November 2020
- Boats: charter sailing monohulls and catamarans
- Aim: to professionalise the role of hostess/steward for luxury charter
Support and Training Locations
From late October, Captains and Crew ’s skipper and hostess courses will be led by Captain Ugo Carsana, with the active support of local charter companies and the hospitality of the marinas of Cannigione, Portisco and Olbia and the island of La Maddalena.
These locations offer ideal conditions for practical skipper training, with sheltered waters and sailing scenarios that reproduce the real conditions of Mediterranean charter work.
