Captains and Crew opens the 2026 season with a week of sailing in the Golfo di Arzachena and the waters of the La Maddalena Archipelago. Charter catamarans, professional captains aboard, spring weather conditions.
Which means variable wind, a formed sea, and the occasional rolling night. You sleep aboard. You cook aboard. You sail in whatever conditions are objectively safe. There is no hotel to retreat to ashore. No one else takes the helm when the mooring gets complicated. You are on the helm. You are the one making the calls. That is exactly how charter works.

And if during the week you showed something more — a genuine aptitude for command, not just technique — you could be selected to join the C&C team as a captain. That is the highest step we offer. We don’t say this to everyone.

Recommended training pathway. You are directed to the Level 1 or Level 2 Skipper Courses at the C&C Sea Academy at the end of the season — same place, same captains. You know where to start from.

La Captains Sailing Week è aperta a chi è in possesso di patente nautica oltre 12 miglia — vela e/o motore — e ha miglia reali sotto la chiglia: charter, regate, consegne, traversate.
Non ti chiediamo un curriculum da comandante pluristagionale. Accettiamo regatanti, equipaggi di delivery, skipper di barche private che sanno cosa stanno facendo in mare ma non hanno ancora fatto il salto professionale.
If you have sailed a great deal and have not yet turned that experience into a profession, this is your chance to find out if the time is right — and if you are truly ready to run a boat with guests aboard when the weather turns.

Application Requirements
◦ Nautical licence beyond 12 nautical miles — sail and motor
◦ Verifiable experience — real miles, not just declared
◦ Vessel experience from 38 feet upward
◦ Experience on monohull, catamaran or both
◦ Availability for at least 3 consecutive days
◦ Full personal equipment — you come as you would depart on a real charter
